Stick With The Best
3M makes some of the best adhesives and graphic films in the world. When it comes to vehicle graphics, 3M has perfected the science with their Controltac line of products. GFX Wraps vehicle graphics by Grafix Emporium are printed exclusively on 3M Controltac 180c Version 3 films on all of our wraps and fleet graphics.
The technology 3M coined as "Comply" features very small air egress channels on the adhesive side of the vinyl. These channels allow the air to escape as the material is squeegeed on to the surface of the vehicle. With the latest Controltac Version 3, the comply channels are visible only on the adhesive side. The face of the vinyl is as smooth as glass and when properly applied to the surface of a vehicle, will virtually look like a painted surface.
A vehicle wrap is an investment. We want your vehicle wrap to look good and last a long time. It's important to use the best material on the market to ensure that your wrap is going to get years of exposure for your business or organization.
With the proper materials, the rest is up to us... and we take things a few steps further than most installers.
Our installers are some of the best in the country. On every wrap, we strive for seamless or "virtually seamless" installation whenever possible. What that means is, when other shops lay vinyl on vehicles like wallpaper -- leaving vertical seams down the sides -- we print our panels to fit your vehicle. Each section (door, fender, bed side, etc) will have it's own panel. We also go the extra mile to strip down every vehicle, removing door handles, mirrors, emblems, window gaskets, molding, etc. Although it's a few extra hours of work, This actually makes the installation process much, much easier. More importantly, it makes the finished product look a thousand times better than our competitors.
Since all the hardware is removed, we don't have to cut around all those obstacles. There are no ugly cut lines exposed. All the vinyl edges are neatly tucked away behind your door handles, mirrors, etc. That also means we aren't running Exacto blades along the visible painted surface of your vehicle. Most of the cutting is done in areas that will never be seen. Also, since most of the cut edges are tucked away, this will prevent the vinyl from wanted to curl back and fail prematurely.
